JULY 23-24, 2016

The Conference co-chairs enthusiastically invite you to share your expertise in the field of Prader-Willi syndrome at the 2016 International Prader-Willi Syndrome Organization Conference event. If you are involved in professional work or are passionate about people with PWS, please share your experiences, successes and challenges, trainings and vision with parents from all over the world.  Clinicians, therapists, doctors, researchers, dieticians and parents are welcome to submit a proposal.

Desired topics include, but are not limited to,

  • Diet as a medical intervention of PWS
  • Medical issues and treatments of PWS
  • PWS Research / Importance of the Global PWS registry
  • Understanding the growing older/aged population
  • Educational Advocacy
  • Use of Sensory Integration and PWS
  • Behavior management strategies
  • Post-Secondary options/group home living
  • Supplements/Holistic Approach
  • 0-5 (Questions, concerns, how to focus on the positive
  • Solutions for all people living with PWS

To express your interest, please send an abstract, not to exceed 2,500 characters, outlining your topic and presentation. Your presentation, including Q and A, is not to exceed thirty (30) minutes in length. Include your biography and contact information. Send abstracts to Tanya Johnson @ tsotiriou@hotmail.com by December 15, 2015.  You will be notified of your acceptance by February 15, 2016.
